Can we still order new from factory for MY18?

Fellas,

I want to order an X5M in Donington Grey w/ Red Interior -- basically loaded ($116k MSRP). Is there still time to custom order a vehicle?

I saw that someone on this forum works with a broker to get a great lease rate... any suggestions on who to talk with? The one dealer I talked to here locally does not want to budget off sticker. LOL.

I'd prefer to get ~8-9% off or so on an ordered car. No cap cost reduction, base MF, 10k/yr, 24 mo lease. Also, did not see any residuals posted for 24/36 month terms (latest) on '17s or 18's, but perhaps that info is not available yet.

COLOR
Donington Grey Metallic

WHEELS
21" M Light alloy Double Spoke wheels style 612M with perf. non run-flat tires

UPHOLSTERY
Mugello Red Full Merino Leather $2,900

TRIM
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim

PACKAGES + OPTIONS
Driving Assistance Plus Package $1,700
Executive Package $4,700
Apple CarPlay Compatibility $300
Bang & Olufsen Sound System $3,700
Parking Assistant $500
DESTINATION + HANDLING $995

TOTAL MSRP as Built
$115,495

Any suggestions on build items? Checked most stuff besides pedestrian detection and was on the fence re: parking assistance since it was only $500 and it would come in handy in cities I assume? I hear that the B&O system isn't great, but residualizing $3700 is cheaper than upgrading the base stereo. The stock HK isn't very good (had it in my M4).

I reached out to David at the beginning of the month. The best he would do was 6.7% off MSRP and he would not say if that 6.7% included the current $2K BMW NA lease credit or not.

His quotes are usually before incentives.

Invoice is pretty fair for an ordered car. 8-9%+ off MSRP is possible on a vehicle in stock. Just have to find a dealer with the car you want who will give you that deal, or pay a broker to find the deal for you.

I don't want to post deals discussed in private out of respect for the dealer but it was a very good discount. I ended up passing as the residuals are too low. Just going to get the wife an M3 instead ( from David ). He has a lot of quotes to give though pretty sure everyone's quote will be similar.

Does anyone want to on one of these past 3 years, let alone 5 years? The leasing program just seems to make a lot of sense with the M models even with the lower residuals. I have just never found the line of people waiting to buy a 3+ year old M series without trying to steal it.
