Really? I am a parent that's how I know this is pretty creepy. Don't get me wrong, cute kid, but not really what you you see kids doing in their sleep.

exactly what i thought

Nothing in the current BMW sounds like they showed in this commercial. It sounded like my old E92 M3 V8 with Akra exhaust

It's a commercial.. there are tons of inaccuracies clearly. OP used the term daydreaming which seems to be accurate. The child is dreaming about driving a car.

in the video the father did use the words " wake her up"... but I wouldn't consider the child to be asleep or sleepwalking.

In my mind the story ends/continues with the little girl running out to hop into her properly mounted car seat in the rear and playing along at driving as mom goes off to drive wherever.

It's a nice commercial. Would love to see my son 'dream' about driving any manual! That's what I learnt on and it is fun. Had to compromise with auto with paddles as the better half doesn't drive stick nor has interest in it. When the boys are out and sport + is on he loves the acceleration.... my father in law lets me drive his 88' Mazda RX7 (stick) convertible which is a blast!

I grew up with a love of cars, I remember my Great Aunt had an 80's 280CE Merc... thought it was so cool. I later learned she had a 3.0 CS before that I missed seeing

With the electric age kids are going to miss the engine noises I heard. I loved the sound of my dad's BMW I6 so much that I had to have one....

Sounds nothing like the current lineup. I would agree with E92 S65 engine. Especially the sound while the girl is rowing the gears. That almost certainly is an E92 with IPE Innotec Exhaust.

My mom, dad, and even sisters didn't have automatics until I was just about driving age. I've had one car with two pedals and will never get another. Hopefully my two year old will have the opportunity to drive a three pedal car, but it may have to be pretty old.

It was... so we can confirm it was definitely a dream since BMW doesn't even know what a manual is anymore

May I add I think I can hear a hint of Mperformance exhaust as well. Not standard exhaust.
