Map update - no code

Hi, i just updated my maps to Europe Next 2017-2. But did not need any codes...

Went to the trouble of setting up a virtual machine with E-SYS and fsc code generator for no reason!!

Sometimes you will be asked a code in 1-2 days, just be aware.

Also if you (or previous owner) used a lifetime code before, you dont need a code again usually.

My last 2 map updates did not ask for it. Go figure... It has been months since the last one and no code needed yet. I have it handy in case a message ever pops up, but after so long i doubt it.

BMW probably loaded an fsc in the vehicle that would allow up to 2017-2 maps due to the production date of your vehicle being close to the expiration of the version of maps your vehicle came with.

I cannot believe that it will ask for code later...
