Extended Warranty 2023
My 2018 X5 5.0i warranty is about to expire, and I have been trying to ID the best extended warranty to purchase. 36K miles and super clean, never had a hiccup at all in this one, but the local area dealers seem to all sell brands I am not familiar with.
Two questions: 1. ever hear of/ experience with Ethos, Ignition or CarShield? Reviews are either missing online, or tied to some sponsored site and therefore, IMHO, not trustworthy. Ignition has a desirable feature that does not have a time limit, just a mileage limit. Since we only put about 6K miles a year on this X5 the price would potentially buy a longer period coverage than others. 2. What other brands should we be considering? Looking for national coverage so we can travel in the future, but also don't want to get hit with huge bills if something broke. Thanks |

Probably doesn't help you as I'm in the UK, but here you can get extended warranty via BMW.
BMW extended warranty Not cheap. I'm paying around £97/pm on a 2017 X6 M50i with 33k on the clock. Excess is £250. |
