Stutter/loss of power when going over bump in 35d?

I am currently away and took approximately 200 mile drive to get here. I noticed that when I went over a decent size bump on the highway in a lot of instances I would have a momentary loss of power. I just put 599m wheels on my car and did not notice it before but I've only had the car for a couple of weeks so it may have been happening and I just didn't notice or I just may not have been in a situation that would have caused it to occur.

Is this normal or should I have them look at it. Car has 1500 miles and is 35d. Thanks.

Could it be a traction control thing? I've never noticed it on my 35d, but felt it quite a bit on my Infiniti QX....

Was thinking something like that. Stiffer wheels may make it kick in easier too. Thanks.

what size wheels did you have originaly?
i wonder if bmw uses different shocks for different sized wheels. maybe the bigger wheels are bouncing more and momentarily lifting off pavement and triggering traction control.
