Snap-in Adapter for HTC One M7?

Hi BMW Fans –

Just got my new BMW X5 with a Snap-in Adapter. The sales guy didn't know whether there is a 'plastic' add-on for HTC One M7 (I know... It's an old phone!). He said that for the iPhone, the thin plastic adapter costs a whopping £50! Do you think I could find one for my HTC? Any DIY recommendations, alternatively?

There is a generic snap in adapter for micro USB socketed phones (basically anything but iPhones). I have one for my M8 though I had to tweak is slightly to get the phone to fit as the USB is in the bottom of the phone.

That looks different to mine, is it a BMW original or aftermarket?
