Another Dash Cam question

Gents - Has anyone fitted a dash cam behind the rear view mirror that does not hang down below it? which I would have thought is a distraction. Trying to make my mind up which one to go for. Was looking at the NEXTBASE INCARCAM 402G PROFESSIONAL NBDVR402-G which gets good reviews here in the UK but not sure. Any advise appreciated.

Just installed a Blackvue DR600 two days ago. It's mounted behind the rearview and you can't really see it.

Doesn't that block the front sensor behind the mirror?

Didn't realize it was partially covered until you mentioned it. I don't think it's that big of an issue.

I think that sensor is for the auto headlamp to detect day and night.
