Mirror Cap Removal

Does anyone have the removal guidance for the side view mirror caps?

Tried using a slim removal tool according to the guides but found in the end that the easiest way (for me) was to grab the top and side edges and pull towards the front of the car. They both came off with a little force and no damage to the tabs.

Thanks for the guidance - took me about 1 minute per side - no tools needed

Yeah I used my hand too after one pull but I'd recommend the "pro" way just do nothing happens in case
