How long should production take?
We ordered a new X5 last week and received a production number from our dealer within a couple of days. I have logged into my bmw and it showed "production begins" a week ago. Just wondering how long to expect. Dealer says we could have it by mid April...does that sound possible?

Very possible, especially if they already have a car on order with the same or very similar specs they can just modify that one. And seeing there are many dealers in the same network, they can trade production spots too. Overall BMW has this done good. None of that ridiculous six month wait some brands do.

Very possible. Once production begins, it normally takes about a week to complete. The website doesn't seem to change status in a timely manner.
