Wiper needs adjustment
My 2015 X5 - the wipers on the front of the car have not been quite right since buying the car - the one on the passenger side doesn't maintain contact with the glass at its outer limits , so the passenger always complains that their side of the window is not clearing right. Does anyone know if this is a minor adjustment i can make myself? Do I need to bend some metal in the arm or something to make it just have slightly more glass contact? Any ideas anyone?

Wiper problem
I took delivery at end of November and just last week took mine in for a new wiper blade for passenger side with the exact same issue. The dealership immediately replaced and gave me a spare for the driver side. TBH I cannot say it's much better. Perhaps a little but still streaks at outside edge.
Perhaps it's a Canadian thing..... |

I've never been happy with the BMW wipers. There is always water residual. I rented a dodge charger on a recent trip and it's toothpick wipers do a better job of removing all water off the windshield when doing a windshield rinse than my luxury vehicle, which always seems to have water splatters all over the windshield....smh.

Same problem
I'm having the same issue witht the passenger side wipers. Very little cleaning at top 4 inches of blade. I've looked at the connection to the pivot and see that it doesn't seem to be as "screwed in" as the driver side. I believe that there is not enough pressure on the glass. At my next service I'm going to see if the dealer can screw this in more.

Same here, passenger side towards upper windshield always gets streaks and I feel like that wiper does not have enough pressure.

Let's all take ours to service for this problem or complain about this next time we are in for scheduled maintenance. They should have kept the old Blade stile blades instead of these left-over ancient crap they decided to use.. Not sure why they went from a better design they used on E70 to this inferior design in F15.

Identical, if not slightly better, pattern here. Additionally I have been looking for a better place to stick the EZpass and the same place seems to be the only spot where it's not visible from inside and it doesn't block my dashcam, however I forgot the sensor might get blocked there..

Can you post a photo of the actual wiper blades, just to check they are the same type as I have on mine.
As I said before, no wiping issues at all on mine. |
