Exhaust diameter

Does anyone know diameter of the exhaust piping on N55? 3"s?

While I love my MPE, the cold starts in the morning are waking up our baby. I'm planning to add a resonator to dampen the noise a little.

If I remember correctly, ID is 3". So OD is a tad over 3".

In 2 weeks I will find out how loud my 997 with a muffler delete.

Pure sex! I've got a catless downpipe and JB4 on their way for the E82...following that, Berk exhaust...thinking Race (which is a muffler delete). It should be fairly, well...obnoxious!

That's what I got from Youtube video.
But obnoxious wise, I don't think it will be that bad since the car is 6MT. Drone is under my control.
