Oh yes, a true seven passenger offering that also has cargo room in the rear. AWD, 577HP, give or take, comfortable as all get out, and for what it is, it's quite understated.

Can I wait for the next gen Toyota Land Cruiser? While some of their cars look weird, I like what they done to the 2016 Rav4. Actually parked next to one top-of-the-line Rav4 that looked really rugged and made my F15 look kinda...fat.
If they make the next gen LC as good or better, it would be a good choice. |

Why would I buy a 2nd suv. My suv is already a 2nd vehicle. It's my daily grocery getter and winter beater. I can't imagine having a reason to own 2 suv's.

for individuals with multiple children going to different locations. one or two children in one age group going to one location (School, sport activities etc.) and another going to say day care or playschool or upk etc. another common thing around certain areas is parents purchase an affordable suv for the nanny/sitter/au pair because either do not have one or have junkboxes etc.
i recently had a second suv which was for local duty, beaches, the marina, hauling bicycles/skateboards or items from home depot. i feel more comfortable in that doing those things than the x5.

I own 2, because I like them and I fit more comfortably in them. I also have no kids and don't plan on having any.

It's depends on each individual. Luckily I have my picks already chosen lol
ML will be out in two more years (150k miles) X5 will be changed into X5M in 2017 GL is my keep sake (First true luxury vehicle I purchased, and one of the first 10 to be released) Jeep Patriot just traded in my 1500 Ram as a beater car to run into town and not have to worry about it. Brand new at $10k best purchase ever.

Problem is I think with tax and stuff 150k may not enough these days for the top end models.
That said with 150k limit I'd probably go Mercedes G63, but our family already has four SUVs; I don't know what we would want any more at this point. |
