8.6% off MSRP sounds good to me.

Yes 25% in taxes is painful to swallow but here in HK it's even worst! We have to live with paying an average of 45% in car taxes!

Yea, I think it is the best I'll be able to do.. Other dealers I've talked to said to take it. :-)

The best deal is the one that nobody else wants.

That's about as good as you are going to get so I would take that deal in a heartbeat. I was at $106,965 and ended up $98,400 cap cost all in.

My dealership actually had an X5 M on order coming to them in almost the exact specs that I wanted. The trim I got is carbon fiber vs. the aluminum trace trim I originally was going to get. I have been back and forth on both trims so that's a win/win. The Bang & Olufsen Sound System I was not going to get but I justified it with the negotiated price. The smart phone integration, I didn't care one way or another. LOL

All in all I am VERY happy with this combo and can't wait to take her home! The best part is she is due to the dealership next Friday, yes GOOD FRIDAY!!!

Looking at your sheet the residual should be based on the sticker price not the cap cost. Maybe you calculated it this way, but just a heads up.

Just Ordered Mine

Here is my deal.

$104,295 MSRP
$92,665 net cost after $2000 lease cash credit (not sure if I had a loyalty credit applied as well, but since that net cost is $4,000 below invoice, I'm not asking too many questions about that)

12k miles per year
$3,093.80 driveoff
plus $8400 in refundable sec deposits
36 x $1087.12 plus tax= $1184.96 (CA Car)

I don't have the money factor or residual numbers used, but can someone see if the monthly lease payment makes sense? I think it's a good deal, but just want to make sure.

Hey all, I just ordered a X5M, speced it out and all. Production starts this week and it should be to me in a month or so.

The car has an MSRP of $112,595.00 and I got the adjusted price down to $104,195.00.
$4,400 is from dealer discount and $4,000 i from rebates... Should I try to get more of a dealer discount since the rebates are, I am guessing, from BMW?

There is one car that is in another dealer's inventory that is the exact spec I am looking for, the dealer is a hour and a half away from me so thinking about taking the drive to see if they can do a better deal. I can always back out of my order.

You can probably do better especially if you go to the dealer that has a build already. My X5 M was $112,795 MSRP and I got mine for $102k negotiated. I also had another $1k credit that always applied separately. Keep negotiating but your deal of about ~ 8% off MSRP isn't bad but could be better. Most feel 8.6% and up should be what you shoot for. Many like myself have received 10% and some even 12% off MSRP. A lot will depend on whether the dealership has a car built/on the lot or if you are being allocated a build. Good luck and welcome!!!

You can get more off the dealer discount, rebates are just that, BMW reimburses the dealer. What rebates total $4k? I know $2k for lease and $1k loyalty, what is the additional $1k?

The extra $1k is for people who have received a college diploma within the past year

CCA works with any rebate. Your dealer doesn't even have to know about it. The CCA rebate isn't applied to the cap cost, it's a rebate you get after purchasing the car.

I don't think it will work. In terms and conditions on BMW CCA Website not valid with any other BMW offers including loyalty.

This is all I see on the 2016 application, which leads me to believe you ARE entitled to CCA rebate

This program is not available in conjunction with other special purchase
programs offered by BMW NA or BMW centers. (including but not limited to
the USAA and Corporate Fleet programs)

I would assume "special program offers" probably means loyalty and college rebate.
