Returned a lot to them when had an Audi Allroad. The air spring lasted only a year or so, and they never denied a refund. You just buying a new part, then send the old one and get a refund. Never sent oil or filters back as buying from different place

Thank you for the advice! Not sure what I was smoking or what warranty agreement must have thought about (could have been from an older car), but the current one only says to perform regular maintenance and keep maintenance records showing receipts, dates, mileage and work performed. Looks like I'm in the clear, now the dilemma is to change to 0w-40 LM oil or keep 0w-30 bmw oil. Last edited by ponytuning; 06-04-2020 at 10:48 PM.. |

Wife finally drove her new car a few times now. Really nice swapping between the five wagon and this white whale.
Is there a way to make an iPhone be assigned to a driver profile for launching Apple CarPlay? Doesn’t look like it. |

So... I had my 35i deal fall through and now I see an identical 17 50i CPO for about the same price local. Should I be scared or go for it? Currently 28k on the clock..

Go for it. The car has 2 years worth of warranty left.

I agree with this. Many good miles left. I'm thankful to still be at 45K miles.

Ok, after putting 5k on the vehicle - and most of it with downpipes, new coils, new plugs and stage 2 tune I can say this thing is an absolute beast. When you get the chance to open it up, have plenty of room because 120 comes all too quickly. We even got 17.5 MPG on the tank on a stock flash tune coming back from our beach trip with bikes and cargo box loaded down. Getting some vibration in the front, but it could be anything from worn out tires, suspension components, or a mount of some kind. Afterall it did do a track day where tire temps got up to 170* F. Brakes worked great and took a repeated beating at the performance center. Wish I had noise from the event as it was sliding and just going all out.
Video with ARM downpipes: View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com My only gripe is that the ventilated sport seats aren't very comfortable. I find you have to sit straight up and have as much of your body on the main cushion and the gap if your thigh is extended gets uncomfortable over time. |

The torque in this vehicle is nuts. We didn't have the x5 in "dyno" mode, so I don't know how accurate this one pull is, but we got really close to 600 tq at the wheels. Mustang dyno: 487 hp and 573 tq.
I also added Dinan springs and 467m wheelset. |

Hey, another E61 on style 230's. Ours is a lowly 530xi but that E60 next to it is a 550i that was hit in the front. Going to swap that powertrain into the wagon after the kids get older... should be sometime around 2030.
Very nice stable you have. Looks like you are enjoying the 50i as well. That's a lot of power even in such a heavy platform. |

👍 love that you went straight to stage 2.
Looks like a beast! We also owned an e91, but it was too small for us, too. Really enjoying the x5. I echo your sentiments on how well these cars handle with 5,000lbs. Sitting up high and the body roll takes a minute to get used to, but once it sets a line in the corner it holds it pretty well. |
