To be fair that is called modding. but putting a complete model badge goes too far lol....any other part imho is fair game in the name of modding.

If it's not approved to be sold in the US, then it's not the real deal. It's nice to dream about it, and slapping these cheap eBay badges, but... maybe in the future we'll get the real McCoy.

I doubt they will bring the m50d to the USA. X5m is too cheap in usa and gas/vs diesel prices not as compelling as other places. bmw will stick to midrange diesel models in NA imho...

The main reason not to import a car from Europe to the USA is price. For the cost of an M50D in Europe you can get an X5M in the US
