All you need is the wheel. everything else transfers over from the msport wheel.
Its a DIY project. Not hard but takes time to get everything swapped over. If you have a shop do it i can't imagine labor being more than a 1-1.5 hours tops Make sure you like how alcantara feels. I never had one prior to installing it on my F15 and thought it was more suede feel but it isn't. Looks like suede but feels more like fuzzy cloth to me. I didn't personally like the feel of it and didn't think it was worth losing the heated steering wheel function for it. Alan

If you have M Sport steering wheel, then everything will switch over. You just need the M Performance steering wheel.
Installation as Alan mentioned, it is DIY-able. For un-experienced, may take up to 2 hours. It took me close to 1 hour from start to finish.

The one advantage to Alcantara is it doesn't get quite as hot or cold in the extreme summer and winter. I've found more of a yes for a cooled wheel than heated living in Florida, California and now Virginia lol. Doesn't really get that cold these places! Lol

Ya it's pretty neat attribute of the material. I do love that the M version is $800 more than the M sport given the only difference is the stitching and the trim piece beneath the airbag. I love the M stitching but am internally struggling justifying the cost difference for just the Alcantara. Although I do plan to swap my trim for the CF and Alcantara down the road. Would be a nice match.
