that looks pretty bad. r u running stock alignment? cus from the looks of it ur riding on the inner inch of the tire and part of the side wall. look at how much tread is along the rest of the tire. heres a pic for reference.

Impressive

You got ~31,000 miles from a set of tyres I would NOT be complaining.

I`ll be lucky if my tires stay so long on the wheels

Go to Stand to adjustable geometry fix the suspensions arms.

I had to change my rears Continental RFT's after about 32,000 miles, the fronts are still going after 38,000 miles though your pics make me concerned as the outside edges of the front tyres are really worn, but the main body of the tyre has 3-4mm on it.

Lease companies here in the UK won't change a tyre until it is down to 2mm even though the wet weather capability is seriously impacted at 3mm, or so the tyre companies say.

You have to mean 5000. I only got 20,000 out of Pzeros or the Dunlop SP. The X5 will chew out the inside rear edge, especially with "enthusiastic" driving....

NPickles You get >32k miles out of your Conti's. Kudos.

I didn't get close to 20k on my 20" summers. How the devil did you manage it.

It's easy... You drive so fast that the tires don't get worn out. LOL

Nothing special really Baunton , plus there's a good amount of towing a 2 tonne boat trailer on motorways included in that, probably 5k miles in total.

Check the pressure weekly and run 2.2 bar in the front and 2.4 bar in the rear when cold.

As other's said, just be thankful you got that kind of life out the tire. The tread in the center looks brand new.
