Again, IMO, no issues with LBB with a $100k 560 HP beast....but on a plain poverty spec civic X5? ehh...
To be fair... the cost of the colour is higher than the m-sport package. Not poverty spec!

Given that we have a Donington Gray '16 X5M within the family as well as a recently acquired '17 Space Gray M Sport I have to disagree. The two colors are noticeably different when parked next to each other.

Not a fan of Long Beach Blue, to each their own...

Well that's quite an endorsement and rebuttal.

I agree. Space grey is actually grey. DG is more champagne/gold color.

Space grey > Donnington imo.

LBB is nice depending on lighting. It also only looks good in pics depending on how they edit the colors in post processing. I almost went Melbourne red for my X5M but I couldn't do it sight unseen. No dealers stock them and the color was too orangy to me because it has gold metallic flakes in the paint. Imola Red is by far my favorite BMW red.

You know, I was afraid of the Melbourne Red being too orange as well. My 2005 X5 was Imola red and it was a great color. I'm happy to report that the Melbourne red is very close to imola. Maybe when bright sun is hitting the car at certain angles yes there is a bit of an orange tint but 90% of the time the color looks very deep red, just like Imola to me.

The key here is I said it is close.. not the same. Every time I see a X5M DG, I mistaken it for a SG and do a double take

Whoever coined the term "poverty spec" deserves an award.
