Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 - I just replaced the Pirelli PZero Run flats (my wife is the DD and she got about 10,000 miles out of them...smh) with these. The difference in ride and comfort is like night and day. Also much quieter too. She has put just over 1000 miles on these thus far so it may be too early to tell how well they will stand up but she/I'm happy with them so far.

Was going to say the same. I stored my RF's until I return the F15 and got a set of DWS06's and the difference is impressive. Much better ride and handling. The price was nice compared to many other options although they very hard to find in my area.

The DWS might be decent tires, I just don't like the way they look. Personal opinion, naturally. They just don't look very aggressive and appear less "fat" than others.

I would agree based on personal experience. With that said.. the DWS06 isn't summer tires either.

I just had Continental's ExtremeContact Sport tires put on last week. They were the only Max Performance Summer Tires I could find for the optional 20" rims. The ride is better than the stock run flats.

True, they aren't strictly "summer" tires. But, they are all-season performance tires; which can be used during the summer.

That was true of the original DWS, the DWS06 have a much better sidewall for SUV use.

Per Michelin's website PSS are available for the rear, but not the front for X5s equipped with M Sport Pkg 20s.

I'm very particular about the "look" of tires as well. The Pirelli P Zero's are alright, more towards the "slim" look. Do you know any fat and aggressive tires for 20s? I think the Dunlop SportMaxx fits that profile, but heard mixed reviews about them.

I got pirelli's and my uncle has dunlops and i always thought his looked wider for some reason.

Also i think DWS06 look wide from profile view. Only rear looks thin. I love wide looking tires but i need something that lasts and DWS06 is the answer.

Bridgestones look nice and fat...

Or you can just throw on some 21" wheels and go with Michelins!

I just looked in tire rack, does anyone have the michelin pilot sport A/S 3? These are all season just like DWS06 so I'm wondering how good they are and how wide it is

One thing I do know, I've never had a Pirelli tire I liked. They all wore fast, noisy, cupped or all three. I try to buy Michelins first. For m sport 20's options are slim, I'll probably do the Conti's again.

It would be nice if Michelin eventually offers the Pilot 4 S in the correct sizes for M Sport 20s. Other sizes are suppose to be released as production ramps up.
