Sounds like an awesome build. I like the options you've chosen. I really enjoy my soft close doors and would probably add them, but they are definitely not needed. I also like the look of the Fineline Pure Textured Wood Trim over the Fineline Oak trim. The non-gloss, matte finish is really unique and something I wish I had. The high gloss roof rails are the way to go with a M-Sport.

When it comes to rims, it's all about what look your going for. If you want the blacked out look, then 469M in black is the way to go. I happen to like a little contrast and thus prefer the regular 469M, option 3.

Now, here's a wrinkle to consider: Are you going to have a dedicated summer/winter wheel and tire set? If so, there are a few options on how to proceed.

For example: Do you want a larger (21" or 22") rim for the summer? If so, save the $950 and get the standard 467M rim, mount winters on it and buy 21" or 22" rims afterwards for summer tires. This gives you a smaller, square (non staggered) setup for the winter tires but has the disadvantage of making you drive on less-beautiful rims for a few months.

Another example would be to get the 469M rims (silver or black), run them until the winter, then have winters mounted to those rims and take the rest of the winter to buy a larger rim/tire setup for your 2018 summer season. If you look around the forum you will see plenty of options.

Good luck!

You can't go wrong with either 1 or 3. Im slightly inclined towards 3.

Good sugestions!
We don't get much snow here in the winter, so likely can do without the winter setup.

Still torn with high gloss roof rails vs the satin finish, but likely will go with the non black 469 wheels.

BTW, what makes the soft close doors so useful? I almost always close the doors with enough force to have them "thunk" closed, out of sheer habit. Don't know if I could get into barely closing them and letting the soft close system take over.

It's useful when you are carrying stuffs with both hands and you can't really close it with force so you only give it a push and it closes

Absolutely nothing makes them useful or needed. They came with the Executive Package on my 2016, and I have gotten quite used to them. I'm so used to them now that I almost never get the door closed the first time on my wife's 3! In reality, it's just a nice little luxury gizmo, but probably just one more thing to break in the future.

2 or 3 ... never been a fan of Black Wheels, only in very limited circumstances do I find them attractive. I like the wheels in 3 better than 2 but get what you like, it's your car!

Apart from the rather boring exterior colour, I think you've got what you need as far as the build is concerned. Just avoid the black wheels.
