Tablet holder and best position in the car?
Can anyone suggest a reliable tablet holder (for 8-10 inch tablet) and what's the best mounting position in x5?
Thank you |

In my 22 years of driving I've learned enough to know that. Thanks for reminding me and I also advise you to keep your phone off while driving as distracted drivers are a greatest danger on the roads. I would also advise to keep the radio off and don't talk to passengers as well. Being extra careful never hurt anyone eh?

I found that our dash has curves and lines and I couldn't find a big enough place on it to attach suction cup holder. Windshield ones obstruct the view too much. So I'm trying to search for some holder that will mount to either vents or cup holder or something like that - basically to be below NAV screen and to not obstruct important buttons or controls. I'm in the process of looking and searching, I was just wondering if anyone already has a tried and true solution for our cars |

Out of curiosity, what is it that you are doing that requires a tablet sized device instead of a phone?

Alternatively, if I had option to mirror phone screen to main NAV screen - I would be just fine with that, but it appears there's no easy solution for that. So tablet is a lot easier (and cheaper) solution I can assure you, I'm not the only weirdo to use tablet in the car |

I have iPhone, but i also have Samsung S4 I can use if that will solve the issue. The problem is my 14' x5 has no built in ability to mirror cellphone screen. Or at least I'm not aware of it. Is there any such capability?
