I also noticed when I exit the car and it enters sleep mode the halos turn themselves on and they stay on!
Did you change the headlights?
What s the full pin avail on your wire ?

Send some pics

Here are the photos. Low beams work, no highs, pull to flash only works with lights off. Halos on passenger side work, top DRL on drivers side works. Turn signals work. Halos come on by themselves when the car enters sleep mode and they do not turn off.

The car originally had adaptive bi xenon headlights, was involved in a light accident and these headlights were put on in place. I believe the drivers halo modules need replaced but I am not sure what to do about no high beams. As stated, when I got under the hood the brown wire (one on top right of each photo) was taken out of the connector and taped.mrfochon

Any help on this would be appreciated! I need to figure this out in order to get my car inspected in PA. I think this was coded improperly when they replaced the headlights. Would anybody know of someone that does remote programming that could assist?

Your wiring and your headlight are not meant for each other.
If you are keen to move pins on the BDC and run a wire under the hood from one side to the other I am happy to send you more info.
Notwithstanding no garantee it will work.
It all looks like the same “issue” I have. I am simply mountain the right headlights since I have them.
Would recommend the same. Overall cost is probably $1k ish

I ordered new TMS modules because I was told the ones in the car were for F10 models. See additional photos of the wiring inside the headlight.

I also sent a text to the previous owner and he believed these lights to be the EU spec non adaptive xenon’s. Did EU even have non adaptive spec headlights? I am not familiar with anything EU.

Yes can confirm euro has no-xenon non adaptive. Have 2 pairs for anyone who needs some
As for the TMS I am not sure how that works. For sure the US BDC pin is not adapted to euro lights.

Looking inside the headlight I do see motors and they look to be bi xenon. Do my photos look like your EU headlights? What TMS module is inside your EU headlights? mrfochon

Why not just get some adaptive headlights used? They aren't that expensive.

stocktree I am considering this now. Let me know if you stumble across any good ones. Most of the ones I have seen are $1200 for each headlight and that doesn't include the modules.
