Some might disagree, but I think you'll enjoy the car more with those spec changes. 6.7 secs 0-60 is quick enough, especially if you don't drive quickly often. Still a shed load of torque. The comfort suspension will eat up our battered road pot holes and speed humps, and the mocha interior pack will look and feel stunning.

Does that bring the delivery date forward too?

Just one more thought.. Led lights did you order for appearance and/or the intelligent selective high beam assist? It's not clear from the literature but the adaptive xenons with hba also have the fancy light beam features. Saves a grand if that feature is the only reason for ordering led.

At 48 beginning to need any light possible driving at night, so thought I would give these a try, I plan to keep the car for 7 years like my previous E70 so wanted "my dream car"

Got ya. Same plan here- 7 years. Mind you that's always the plan, but currently setting a new record at 3 years

Just picked up my X5 3.0D SE in Space Grey with Terra interior - with a few toys on it. Ordered back in August, was due for delivery in Jan but turned up in early Nov, but had to wait for current contract on XC90 D5 Exec to complete. Big change from XC90, although it is bigger according to all the measurements, it does feel smaller! Options include:

Front &rear heated seats
Connected drive
HUD
Rear seats
Internet
Shaded rear windows
Electric towbar
Reversing camera

No, apparently all uk builds get the better extended LCD display.
