Can you change the coding for the stop&go?

Can somebody tell me how to change the settings for the stop&go function? I want to be off when I start the engine and to put it on when I want via the button. I really feel that this function is adding much more tear to the engine than is saving fuel...

Wait so the auto start stop function doesn't remember the last setting on the F15? I thought BMW starting making it this way starting 2014 for all models. My 2013 535 had to have it coded to do this but my 2014 550 came this way from the factory and didn't needed to be coded.

Mine stays off, no coding needed.
It only activates A) When I enable it by pressing the button B) If I switch to EcoPro mode.

It is also possible to code that in eco pro this function will be deactivated(default value)

My F15 was produced in feb 2015 and is not remembering the setting...it might depend on the market...in Europe the car is quoted EURO6, meaning that is respecting very tigh pollution standards...I avoided a pollution tax of around 2000 euros so is not so bad...but still I have asked my dealer to find a way to solve it!!!

That's correct, but I think EcoPro should not be used in a stop and go environment, I find it to be extremely laggy in local city driving, especially if you have to take quick turns, beat the light (not that I do it ) or if you need to overtake someone.
I believe Eco Drive works better in Comfort mode which is what someone would use in normal city traffic and switch to eco drive only on highway or at least non-stop traffic conditions.

Correct, only North American models remember the last setting from the factory.
Rest of the world it defaults to ON.

Answer came from the BMW service today: you cannot change the settings in Europe as this is part from the EURO6 certification...I will learn to push the button together with the start button!))

If you wish-do it, but think that people already replied regarding this subject.
