Your X5 looks great and I am biased because I also have the Space Gray Msport.
However, (not just your car, but every other X5's I've seen) the blacked out wheels just don't do it for me. Not on the white, black, or gray exteriors.

Only darker colored wheels that does look nice to me is kkakonn's

Indeed. I had the IDENTICAL car ordered locally, but jumped at the chance to get it 6 weeks earlier and incorporate a fun road trip/break-in.

My car's kinda famous around this board

End of spring break. Siblings. I parked at night and by morning they were two. Mine next to a 50i.

This always happens to me too.. I usually park away from others too.. and somehow there is usually another X5 ( with and without Msport ) or another BMW sedan.

Personally, not a big fan of X5M's front facia. Kinda reminds me of Toyota 4Runner. I think they should've stuck with M3/M4 lower facia style.

+1 on driving in Germany! Not sure how other Euro countries are, but when I was stationed there in the late '90's, it was a treat to drive there. Driving on the autobahn was fantastic, the drivers here in the states could learn a few things!

Nice! How much more speed do you think it had?

Awesome!!! 10 miles to the gallon! (I'm assuming it's miles and gallons). Love it! Definately have to let her breathe when you're in Germany.

BTW, on the estimated range meter on the bottom of the speedo....sometimes I see that white dot/circle....sometimes I don't. What is that?

Probably my favorite rim for the F15. Love the offset.

I find the car gets a little "floaty" around 240 km/h. Not the best feeling. It's the max I've done so far in my 40d.

It shows you the amount of your fuel range required to reach your destination - hence you only see it with the nav active.

DHP. which is normally great, just at high speed it feels a little floaty. But my other car is a porsche 911 with optional sports suspension, so i guess my opinion might be a little off.

Haha - yeah I've a couple of crazy cars that when I hop out of them make the X5 feel like a boat - but it has an uncanny knack of shrinking around you once you've been in it for 10 minutes - one of the many reasons why I love driving it so much!

Love your 491s. I'm planning to swap my standard M-sport 19s soon!

It'll definitely do the 150 MPH. Got up to 140 MPH surprisingly easy (love the Diesel)! I'll get back to you on that next time I have the opportunity. Didn't want to push her all the way, but could have.
