Rear Control Arm???

I'm getting this weird creaking sound coming from the back driver's side when I go over small cracks on the road at slow speeds.

I've been driving with my head out the window like Ace Ventura trying to pinpoint the creaking. I'm like 99% sure it's coming from the back driver's side.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

I have been looking at this suspension diagram from getbmwparts, but don't know where to start??

Lots of people have experienced this. It's a common issue discussed quite often on these forums.

Yes, I found discussions re. the front suspension but not the rear. I'll search again. Thanks for the reply.

I'm on here quite a bit and I'm not to familiar with threads pointing toward the rear control arms. (I see mostly front control arm threads) Care to link us to a popular thread concerning the matter?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I'm now having clunking sounds coming from the rear. I'm thinking the RTAB's are shot. I searched and it's all front control arm bushings. Not much on the rear so hopefully you or someone else can help. I'm not even sure how many control arms there are in the rear. Front has 3 per side I believe.

Thanks in advance for your help
I believe 29 and 25 are what you’re looking for. You should be able to easily see them if you looked in front and behind the rear tire. Plenty of room. You can do polyurethane inserts I believe now too. Don’t hold me to that.
