Finally, they put back the unlock feature that doesn't require a phone call!

One quick security question and it's unlocked.

Am I the only one happy that the app finally has purpose?

How do you guys use it?
I have an Android version, but I was not able to do any good with it.
For my Cadillac SRX it use to say milage, fuel amount, shows where the car is, lock/unlock.

Same with this app. Except I don't think it includes the mileage and fuel amount. However it does on the classic BMW connected version.

I think the other apps (classic connected and BMW remote) are being replaced by this one newer app. The classics BMW connected app didn't have the remote feature. You would have to download the BMW remote for that.

They provided no instructions how to access this. Didn't realize you had to click the tiny car icon to access this functionality in the new app. I guess I can finally delete the old one.

I still keep the old one. For some strange reason, at least for me, the old app works MUCH better when it comes to finding what i want on the map, and sending it to the car. New app sends locations to the car just fine, BUT cannot finds addresses/ places. For instance, i had to stop by my friend's new house, and new app simply did not find it on the map and offered me to go either to Michigan, or to Washington State, while old app found the address in a split second.
