Thank you gift from BMW!

I received a thank you gift from BMW, a 2gb thumb drive loaded with a few videos and a brochure filled with links to more videos and downloads for new owners. Side note, this thumb drive weighs a staggering 43.5 grams

I received the same gift. Yes, it's a brick! It'll probably last longer than my f15 truck. Lol

Yep, use it to update your media/phone software, or upload some music to your hard drive. Just know that it's not big enough for the maps database when they release a new one.

They need help with the gifts. The last thing I need is a pretentious USB drive, let alone another USB drive to match the three I already have... Give me a gift card to the BMW store.

+1.. we spend $75K+ on cars and BMW gives us things that I usually toss into the trash... pens, usb with very low space, concept car drawings.

I received one of these and gave it to my daughter. She uses as a key when riding her power wheels.

...on the flip side, I'd be happier with new grocery bags if they were remotely decent quality. I go through USB drives so damned fast.

Am I the only one who asked for gifts? I requested for a BMW Motorsport travel bag and a BMW Motorsport tent.

I always get gifts from sales associate when picking up new vehicles, including all weather mats, bags, travel mugs, watches, and jackets.

I got the USB in the mail, but it is kind of useless. I like the pens and concept drawings.

I laugh at these BMW gifts. With every BMW I get these stupid small-capacity USB drives ... and the funny thing is ... they aren't even the current key! $115k for a car and you give me a USB drive that looks like the key on my old F10!

Nice gesture ... but irrelevant. And the videos on the drive aren't even of the model i bought

Amazing to me the differences between dealers, especially with customers purchasing multiple vehicles.

When the package arrives I cringe and then toss it. Would rather get a miniature replica of the X5 or heck, even a really nice pen.

I do not care as much about the exterior design, though it would be nice to have a larger capacity flash drive as well as load it with more relevant videos and material. After picking up my most recent F15 and F10, I was sent 2 series videos and clips that I could find directly on the website.

At the same time, I thought it was funny for BMW to running a Bower's and Wilkins headphones promo special for attending a demo when certain qualifying vehicles could not even be optioned with B&W's speakers.

I agree! The storage capacity would be preferred, however its funny that I get "leftovers" with the old key design

Also ... with the B&O option on my F10 I received a B&O Demo Audio DVD along with a coupon for a free $250 headphone from B&O ... 2 years later bought the same B&O system on my F85 and received nothing ... no demo audio DVD ... no headphones.

replica F15 / F85 would be most preferred. I also don't mind the concept lithographs

I have had HK on all recent cars. I was too afraid to sit in B&O and then have to regret spending $4K on sound system or skipping and missing out. These were the B&W headphones. But they were giving them to i3 owners, which I found strange.
