I know the A3 is nearly the identical size as our old B5 A4. If I could get a manual S3, or better, a manual hatch RS3, I'd be at the dealer today. Hell, I've even been trying to find work in the UK partially to make this dream a reality.

Pretty nice. Inside is very different from the prior generation, looks excellent both in design and quality.

And its no wonder as to why: they have been shedding customers to Lexus since the brand came onto the scene in the late 80s. In other words, luxury cars have become more Lexus-like because the luxury buying populace happens to like Lexus. Today's buyers are more likely to prioritize high tech features over raw performance. So, a focus on performance driving dynamics first simply isn't the way to profit as it was in the 90s and 00s.
100%.

I feel like all three German automakers are essentially making the same cars nowadays. All are fast and put up good lap times, but have pretty lifeless steering and overall low levels of driving engagement.

Audi can make this new A6 look as sporty as they'd like in their launch film, fact is that it will drive like every other Audi...competent but not genuinely sporty.

Used to own a 2016 S6 and I thought that car was boring looking and not aggressive enough...this looks even worse.

The interior dash looks like a more modern Oldsmobile. I fell asleep just looking at it.

No RS4/6 in the States = not a buy for me. At all.

All the new Audi have gone to this design. It allows for incredible gas mileage while retaining AWD. I drove the new A4 Quattro and I was getting over 35mpg on the highway on a 500 mile trip... pretty awesome for a big awd sedan with 3 adults and luggage.

But no worries, it is AWD when you need it, you don't notice the transition.

It's also due to poor orthodontics culture. Kids even theses days rarely wear braces. Unlike in USA, and I believe AUS too, where most kids wear braces.

Only the B9 and 80A currently have this system.
The 4M Q7 and other models still retain the traditional TorSen Quattro system.
This "Ultra" system is very similar to the previous Haldex systems found on some vehicles in the past.
