I did all the set up options per the guides and am using the recent files sent but after it connects and I try and read the keep getting this error:

Read FA failed! Possibly there is no FA stored in the VCM. [C060]
Invalid call for verifyVCMData. Please call init() method of com.bmw.psdz.security.impl.FzgSCrypto first. [1441]

Read FA from the Backup Partner failed. Possibly there is no FA stored in the Backup Partner or there is no connection to the Backup Partner. [C096]
negative response error:
code: the result contains an error
description: Service RDBI_FA2 has error in result: [Severity=2051][ErrorCode=53311][ErrorCodeDescription=Module offline][VendorCode=20039][VendorCodeDescription=link is no longer active]; LinkName: VCM_BACKUP_ETHERNET

I disabled Wifi, AV, and firewalls but no luck.

Any ideas?

Has anybody successfully coded 2017 X6M (or X5M)? I tried few months ago, messed up FSC, had to take the car to dealer. If you have done it correctly, then it must have been my mistake, I'll try again.

There are no issues with coding 2017 X6M / X5M.

Thanks Shawn. You helped me in October through remote connection, I was trying to switch from id5 to id6_light. I had done something wrong, will try again. If there are changes in software since last October, can you please pm me links? I'll also email developer for Launcher Pro. Is it ok to paypal him money so it can go to his charity?

Hello guys,
I have an '18 X50i, with 6WB,6NS,609,6NR factory I'm trying to add internet option over BT but I failed in everyway possible, the only option I have under connected drive is Bmw assistance,under that I have bmw roadside assitsane,customer support, your service partner.
Any ideas

The car is assembled in Egypt but with US parts, while trying i accidentally deactivated the hu_nbt it wasn't powering on, I managed to bring it back to life but now under navigation it is asking for a usb with correct code, does this means a visit to the dealer ?

I think that with ID6 and Apple carplay this option is no linger supported, I read that once you connect an i phone the system automatically uses the iphone internet connection. Guess have to try using an i phone and see, the problem is that I'm an android user

it's a shame BMW declined the implementation for Android Auto

Navigation is back on, SA said first time is for free, now is there a way to activate apple carplay ? I have the following options factory on '18 X5 50i 609,6NR,6NS,6WB!
When activated does it activate the weather widgets ?

You just have to purchase through ConnectedDrive store or third party FSC.

I figured whether was the same there as it is here; just look out the window. Not related to Carplay.

Store is not available in Egypt, and I like the look of having weather info displayed instead of the connecteddrive icon which I really don't what is it connected to !

You need active BMW Online Services subscription in order to have the Weather Info.

Opasha, thanks for compiling this info.

Please update section 3 of your original post. It is missing steps to disable paddle shifters for those who do not retrofit new steering wheel.

I haven't read the entire thread but quick searched revealed that at least one person complained about D mode randomly switching to manual mode (m8). With me it takes at least 2 people with the same symptoms.
