I love Porsche, but I'm not loving this.

That was the first concept. As it gets closer to production it looks less like a Star Wars prop.

No, it's just the slightly taller wagon from Geneva, like an Audi Allroad.

The latest model certainly shows that they're getting closer. Doors open conventionally and light look much more production ready.

They have the Mission E and the Mission E Cross Tourismo IIRC. If not, Porsche’s website is confusing.

Red Bread, what do you use to embed images? Is it the Bimmerpost app?

Whatever it is, it adds extraneous URL tags - that’s why your images never display properly. I’ve fixed a few of them for you, but you can fix them yourself by just deleting those URL tags.

Yeah, I've tried to fix those that have the extra. I blame the new phone.

Funny. You tried to correct me above but you offer no concessions when you have bad info.

When legacy car manufacturers get ramped up on electric vehicles Tesla will be finished. I suspect Elon Musk's core interest is SpaceX and that he's looking for an exit by acquisition of his Tesla flirtation. The thing Tesla needs most is car people fixing its faults. If I ran Tesla the first thing I'd do would be to hire the top 6 interior designers I could steal away from VWAG and the top 10 QC people from Subaru.

What bad info? I posted bad picture links. Thinking that the GT is an SUV is still weird. If you think an Outback or Allroad is an SUV, then marketing is working. But I still think of them as wagons. It just seems like marketing folks are scared of the term wagon.

My point was that Porsche is offering a Mission E line up and not just the SUV you posted. We can play semantics all day but certainly someone who buys the taller chassis Mission E wants more utility, hence it being more closely related to the duties of an SUV.

I guess they need a car like this one to meet all regulations on emission, so this car will help keep Porsche in business.

Mission E is two different vehicles; the sports sedan and the suv-like creation.
