E70 Rear flare paint chipping / any with F15?

Greeting X5/X6 ///M owners

After owing and experiencing the previous E70/E71 X5 /// M and the well known rear flare paint chipping / sandblasting issue...

Has anyone noticed if the are getting the same issue with the F15?

Has anyone or does the F15 come with Factory 3M in this area of the vehicle?

Appreciated

Last I washed my vehicle, there was no sandblasting. The F85 X5 M doesn't come with any paint protection material from the factory. I had XPel Ultimate applied the day I took delivery. The wrap is still in undamaged condition after close to 6k miles. I think the switch from sticky run flats which are known to pick up and throw a lot of debris, to regular performance tires helped reduce particals being thrown at the rear of the vehicle from the front tires. I've read the M Sport version of the F15, with run flats has the sandblasting issue.

My E70 X5 with the M Sport package had a lot of the sandblasting problems you refer to. BMW paid to have the rockers and rear wheel arches repainted, and then I had the paint protection film (PPF) installed.

I have the Xpel on my F85 X5M, and don't notice any damage to the film. I highly recommend having PPF installed to prevent any issues.
