Connecteddrive not available after parking car
Hi all,
Small question: Is it normal that Connecteddrive / remote services is not available anymore after a certain period of parking the car? It usually happens after an hour of parking. No way to connect to the car anymore so not sending or receiving anything. Makes sending destinations to the car and preconditioning prior to departure kinda useless. Is this normal as a module is switched off after a period of time or do I need to book a trip to the dealership? Thanks for sharing your experiences. |

No, you should be able to send destinations or any commands available on you connected app anytime, regardless of how long it's been off. It should "wake up" upon anything being sent to it. Are you parked in a garage? If it will not wake up, then yes a trip to your dealer might be in order.
