Think my sinuses are otherwise ...I'm suffering from my sinuses in the last 6-7 years ,summer and winter ! Doctors say I need a sinus surgery . Personal I think it comes from my work stress ! But I'm chicken because I saw a sinus surgery on the Internet ... Think it was a mistake to watch the horror . Every night before sleeping I need this shit...

So Excel peeps: how do I make the contents of a column that contains the name of the exported file actually be the link to the file so I (or the judge) can pull up the images of the checks direct from each line? It has to somehow include ".\" so it can travel as a folder across thumb drives.

The .\ is "current folder" so I don't end up selecting "C:\my user profile\documents\subfolder\subfolder\filename" which the judge may not have on his computer. |

I'm not certain you can do what you want to do, to be honest. Someone more talented than me perhaps will know. The only thing I could think of would be to save the images to the USB key first and then create the file links to the USB key images. But I'm not even sure that would work, because depending on what USB devices are used on the computer it is going to, it could rename the USB key used from say E:\ to F:\ and I'm not sure if the links would still be valid then. Sorry - only idea I could come up with. |

Code:
Sub hyperlink() ' ' hyperlink Macro ' ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+h ' Dim cl As Range Dim s As String Dim wede As String wede = "fugitive" For Each cl In Selection cl.Select s = cl.Value ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1).Hyperlinks.Add Anchor:=ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1), Address:=s, TextToDisplay:=s Next cl wede = "Acquitted" End Sub Paste this into your macro module In your spreadsheet, select the list of paths that you want to make hyperlinks. Press ctrl + h *Notes - DON'T use column select, pretty sure that will make an infinite loop. This is untested and you get what you pay for. - This is going to overwrite the column one to the RIGHT of your path list. Make sure it's blank or you gon' lose data. |
