Both pictures are shot straight on Omaha Beach. In the second one, Pointe du Hoc is visible aswell.

Amazing place. Lots of activity everywhere during that whole strech. With american flags everywhere within several miles, american tourists and restaurants everywhere, it felt more like being on the other side of the ocean.

I walked Omaha Beach and the American cemetery a month or so ago and I don't recall what those white buildings are up on top of the cliffs... Indeed a special place.

Here's a pic from a drive last weekend we did along the Thunderbolts Way. It's a winding road with lots of elevation changes and our X5 handled all the turns and rough surfaces nicely.

It's just an idea I adopted from Alan's X5. I thought it looked unique and I enjoy it because it makes the X5 my own... In my area there are several X5 Msports with M performance carbon fiber parts, so I am just trying to remove myself from the cookie cutter X5's out there.

More Sweden...that bull in the middle eventually got a little mad and almost charged me. Lucky him he didn't, cuz I work out and stuff.

Enjoyable roadtrip despite the runflats losing their balance once again, and a failed thermostat. Still very disappointed in the quality of this vehicle...
