Thanks.

Are the any special member discounts or current promotions going on that a hypothetical new customer could take advantage of?

Update: 15mm Front and 20mm Rear only fit on the F15 X5 before MY11/14 only!!!
For MY11/14 and after, 5mm Front and 15mm Rear is the recommended size.

Here is the picture on 5mm Front and 15mm Rear.

Hey Ben why can't u do 15-20 mm on 2015 and newer. Looking at spacers from ecs and noticed they have 18mm.

BMW changed the front hub where is taller than the before version.
Where the 15mm doesn't clear it.
You can use the 18mm for the front, but it will stick out 3mm more than the 15mm.

I just went with 15 for the rear. Nothing in the front.

Thanks to Ben and a set of 15mm rear spacers, I am much happier with the stance on the OEM winter set for my F85.

Easy enough to install with the proper tools. Highly recommend picking up a wheel hanger (makes lining up the spacer and wheel much simpler), a torque-limiting socket (brakes torque at 75ft/lb) and a good torque wrench. Of course, you'll also need a breaker bar, BMW jack adapter, jack stands (if you want to be extra safe), anti-seize and a jack (my low-profile 2-ton jack seemed a little stressed under the weight of the F85... might be time to upgrade).

Tools...

Holly brakes...(makes sure to remember the anti-seize)!

Left side are the OEM 11.5x20 with 315 (width) Continental DWS06, Right side OEM 10.5x20 with 285 (width) Pirelli Scorpion Winter. Photo wasn't taken directly behind, so it's a bit skewed.

Finished product..

No problem- it's taken me a few years to get the equipment and process right, but can now swap in <30min. I linked above to the tools that I've used. The wheel hanger is really key and cheap.

Would the 5mm really make a difference though? To bad can't do thicker.

It will.
That E92, you need to check the center bore. Most likely won't fit.

5mm or thicker than 15mm.
10mm, 12mm, or 13mm won't fit due to the hub centric clearance.

For anyone installing spacers, keep in mind your park assist may curb your wheels because the wheel widths have changed. Park Assist on my vehicle gets in pretty tight to begin with and is basically parked as close to the curb as possible. I would be concerned adding 15mm and damaging the wheel.

Good mention.
The whole time I have park assist feature in my 650GC, I almost never use it. 1 main reason, there are not that many parking condition where it require me to do parallel.
2nd reason, I never got it to work. It is not as easy as it seems.
3rd reason, whenever you are setting it up, the car behind you will not have the patience or give you enough clearance to do it. Because you need to pass the spot about a car length before the park assist able to detect the empty space.
In conclusion, it is a pain to use it. Not as easy as it seems.
