VERY High DPF Pressure Still After Successful Regeneration?
I had multiple errors related to the diesel system and poor engine performance. After some research and purchasing BimmerLink, I was able to get a successful DPF regeneration, which hadn't naturally occurred for quite some time (~7k miles). I had to constantly read the errors, delete the errors, to keep the Regen going.
After the regen, the soot mass dropped from the 97g to 3g and no new diesel system errors! The car ran a lot better and we were thrilled. However, the Exhaust Pressure before DPF and Differential Pressure are still VERY high from what I've found. At Idle:
At: 2,600 rpm
The next day, started having performance issues again and got an uninformative error on the screen of "Drivetrain: ________ Continued Driving Possible. Consult Service Center". Normally, I've seen something come after the "Drivetrain: " part, but this was blank. Hooked up BimmerLink and no permanent errors, not Diesel System errors in Error Memory or Info Memory. And Soot Mass back up to 97g. The full scan for errors just showed 7, but none explicitly for engine issues: Central Gateway Module 5 errors 100600: Flexray protocol startup time is too high 100100: Contact to FZM slave lost 100104: HW Weckgrund ZGW 100203: DM software error info warning 100204: Message monitoring: no system context signal Body Domain Controller 2 errors 80402C: NVM EEPROM driver error 8040BC: IBS Wakeup: implausible wake-up signal
