Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV Non Run Flats (XL)
Hi all,
Just thought I'd give a quick initial thoughts on these tyres as I haven't read/seen many reviews on these tyres, let alone on an X5. Context: Suspension setup: M Sport Adaptive, with Air Springs on the rear (Currently standard springs and height, will be changing to Eibachs front, and lower the rear to match) Previous Tyres: PIRELLI P ZERO PZ4 - Run Flat Tyre Size - 275/40/20 Fronts, 315/35/20 Rears Initial thoughts and feelings are mostly positive. Much quieter, and much smoother in terms of rolling resistance (Need more travel to confirm) Biggest difference is comfort. No more harsh jarring or crashing on uneven surfaces. The bumps now feel more muted and "low frequency" instead of feeling the crash through the cabin...if that makes sense. Steering does feel a bit numb, however this could be due to new tyres in general compared to the oldies. If anybody has any questions, please feel free. PS - Didn't realise how wide the rears are until they came off the car:
