Thanks, that makes sense. I actually upgraded to steel lines on the rear during the Brembo caliper upgrade but never touched the fronts. I'll revert the coding.

Fantastic DIY guide, thank you for putting this together. I coded my MBPK on my 2018 xDrive 35i just now in about 10 minutes' time.
One thing - on step 17, after "Read and Save", before you expand all files you'll need to right-click on the FA folder and click "Activate FA" otherwise, nothing will populate in the Vehicle Profile section to verify folder 8 and subfolder 2376 are written to the car, and E-Sys will not let you code to the vehicle. |

I did this upgrade on my F16 many months ago when I added Porsche Panamera Brembo 6pot fronts and 4 both rears and SS line but have two questions,
1. is there a different mod for even better performance on my brakes with larger rotors? 2. I recently did a full isteps update for all modules and lost my tune (from prior owner) but did I also lose my brake mods as it does feel more spongy now. thanks Rick |
