My BMW Remote (Android) not working

I can sign in, see my car. Whenever I choose any of the remote control options I get a 'No activated services. Please contact BMW assist' prompt.

I contacted BMW Assist', they said my service is activated and they are clueless about the app. Called the 'BMW Genie' number, their contribution was to tell me to make sure I have set up a security question (???).

Anyone had any success with this POS?

If you are trying the unlock control then it is not possible with the remote. I think you can only sound horn and flash headlights.
