Exclamation List of M Sport parts by VIN for 2015 F15

I called my local dealership (weren't really helpful at all). But they said if I was able to secure a list of M Sport parts for my F15 matching its VIN they would be able to do the installation for me. They even pointed me to the forums, so here I am. My VIN is 5UXKR0C58F0K66895 if it helps!

Welcome to the forums. Oof.. a lot to un-pack here. My first thought is, you might be better off just finding an M Sport and selling the X5 you have. I decoded your VIN and it's pretty sparsely optioned - you could get into an M Sport and find one with some additional options/features at the same time.

With that said, there are people here who've done the conversion. Most just do the exterior cosmetic stuff - front & rear bumpers, side-skirts (you'll lose your aluminum running boards you have now), all 4 wheel arches, & gloss black window trim. Possibly roof rails, not sure if those are different. If you were take it all the way, you'd need ///M door sills, M Sport steering wheel, anthracite headliner, etc. You'll also need different exhaust tips, or at least I'd recommend them - your current stock, tiny round tips will look goofy with the rear M Sport bumper IMO.

I don't know of a list of parts, but your best bet is to get familiar with www.realoem.com. Filter on your model and go to the 'bodywork' sub-section where you'll need to go through each section of the vehicle. Side skirts and rear bumper should be easy to find. For the front bumper there's quite a few part #'s dependent on your vehicle's options. Based on your VIN I don't see Night Vision, LED headlights, headlight washers, surround view, or parking assist, so the front bumper part # should be 51118062002.

https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_5415

There used to be pre-assembled M Sport conversion kits out there, but most appear discontinued, unavailable, or are listed on some site that looks nothing short of shady. Furthermore none are OEM so it's highly doubtful your dealer would touch them. Maybe a body shop would.

Good luck - it's really not that hard to find the part #'s using the site above, they're all listed there, just gotta sift through all the vehicle sections and pay attention to the detail/description below. Hopefully someone who's done the conversion can chime in, as surely there's some underlying hardware and accessories that are likely needed on top of the obvious stuff.

Omg thanks for your quick response and welcome, already feeling the community vibes already! Yeah this was exactly what the dealership guys said, he was like "your best bet is to find someone who already did it and get their list of parts (if it's not posted out there already). Your answer definitely got me thinking a lot, but appreciate it a ton! Definitely hope someone could chime in if its worth it to do the conversion or just get a new car lol

By the way how do I know which parts to choose. The first thing that I think I'm doing right (correct me if I'm wrong) is that I would go to the ones that says M Trim, which is what I want right. Let's say the M Trim Rear:

It doesn't tell me which is the Basis one like how you picked out the Front Bumper for me (LED Fog Light and Basis as indicator). And it all has "For vehicles with M Aerodynamics package", which I don't have. Does it just automatically mean all of them fit my car since the results are from the search of my car's serial number (last 7 of VIN).

So looks like this guy got it done, and he went from F15 to F85!

Javila, hope I'm not bothering you, I know the below is the list for the front bumper:
51-11-8-066-732 M Bumper cover
51-11-8-056-302 Absorber
51-11-8-066-726 Tow Bracket Cover
51-11-8-056-289 Adapter
51-11-8-056-290 Adapter
51-11-8-066-729 Lmp Washer Cover
51-11-8-066-730 Lmp Washer Cover
51-11-8-056-341 Center Grille
51-11-8-056-342 Center Grille Holder
51-11-8-056-259 Lower Grille
51-11-8-056-261 Outer lower Grille left
51-11-8-056-262 Outer lower Grille right

Is that all needed for the dealer to be able to do the conversion? Are there any other small bits and pieces you would have info on that's needed or missed?

I am also very very amazed at your rear bumper conversion (overall your F15 is a one-of-a-kind beast!!!). I know that you did stated that there's no parts list for your rear bumper conversion and you also had to do a exhaust/muffler mod on it. But as someone who has done it already and succeeded. Would there be any tips/advice on how to obtain that list, what shop would do that exhaust mod, was it worth the effort, possible updates to the rear list, et.al?

"1 rear bumper - included the tow hook covers
1 rear diffuser
1 rear diffuser insert
1 pair of Acexxon reflector delete in gloss black
4 mounting brackets for bumper
2 mounting brackets for lane assist
And of course, the paint job."

Correct, find the ones labeled M just like you did above. For the rear bumper it looks like there's just one version. What I don't know is if you need all those other miscellaneous mounting pieces, nuts, etc.

I'd just throw some all-terrain tires on it and lean into the xLine look. Just look at the laundry list of parts needed for the bumpers alone--and those are frankly some of the easier bits. Plus you're looking to pay dealer labor to install all this, keep in mind that at the end of it all there's still a good chance that it won't be as clean or seamless as a factory install. I'd strongly recommend you get a different car that already has the parts/options you want.
