Excellent project so far, really impressed with the steady progress and selection of parts.

For the Zeitronix ECA2 CANBUS Flexfuel Kit, I have two questions:

1. Was the BM3 Flex Fuel kit an option you had looked at?
2. What has been your experience with the Zeitronix kit so far in terms of install and use?

Appreciate that ! It’s been a journey for sure with focus on quality. Answers to your questions below.

1. Yes I did contact BM3 and MHD. They both confirmed their kits wouldn’t work because of the different fittings on the top hat of the f15 low pressure pump setup.

2. It’s been on the car for almost two years now. Still works as expected with no issues with adaptations or content readings. CAN was tapped in the passenger footwell from the BDC and ran over to the drivers side since the ethanol sensor plug came in on that side.

One additional question, I was reviewing your engine mods list.

In order for you to read your target boosts - which are above 21psi, did you install the

BMW 3.5 BAR TMAP sensor (Part#: 13627843531) ?

I did, swapped that in and set that in the TMAP flash option in MHD when flashing the tune and we’re all good to go. Typically only hit those boost levels when on ethanol.

Careful with the b58 coils, my car did not like them. You may have to change the gap on the plugs just fyi.

I got something up my sleeve for you for the seats .

Sometimes it’s not just about the car, but also the human connection to the car. got my wife to take a photo for me.

You can see how much joy it brings me while also wearing the ‘Cars are Pain’ shirt from Donut. Couldn’t be more accurate for people like us.

Well, it was fun while it lasted but the BimmerHausPerformance intake had to come off. The fuel trims were way too rich and I even swapped in a new MAF sensor to rule out the hardware. Even tried adjusting the calibration as best we could, but no dice. It is what it is, no harm done. Back to the Turner / FTP setup.

Small details can make all the difference sometimes. Replaced the large billet shift paddles with some KMP Drivetrain Magnetic Carbon pieces and swapped my center caps for some titanium ones for a little flare.

Also did my usual 2500 mile oil change with Motul 5w40 as always. Might be overkill but I’d rather do too much than too little.

I usually get the driveline stuff from FCP Euro and the Motul from Amazon. Seem to have the best pricing between the two of them.

Thanks friend! The body color reflectors will clean things up nicely, I’m looking to paint match my fender flares like you M-Sport pack bunch for similar cleanliness.
