Accelerated engine

Maybe this is just me but I feel like my f15 is a bit accelerated what I mean by that is when I’m on a red light and I let go of the brake pedal without pressing the gas peddle the X5 moves too quickly forward. It’s instantly. My RMP is normally between 0 and 1. I would say .6 if I don’t touch the peddle. The picture I posted is not a picture of my f15 dashboard but it’s identical or very close to what I see when this happens. Is this normal? I feel like before the car would roll a little slower. Who knows maybe I need a Prius.

That seems like normal idle rpm.

When the engine is cold, the idle rpm is higher...

Garage List
You may find that it's more pronounced when the car is cold, especially if the weather is cold too. The transmission fluid gets thicker when it's cold and the internal clutches slip less, making it a bit more "eager" and hard to hold back.
