Bluetooth and Audio Issues

Okay, not sure if this is my phone, iOS or something going on with my head unit in the car

iPhone X iOS11 - bluetooth connects fine, phone call works great but Bluetooth audio streaming only works for about 10 seconds then it would lose connection. Went back to settings, as if the Bluetooth audio option is not even available.

So I decided to plug my phone directly to the USB port on the armrest. Previously phone it would play audio but now it won't. The audio plays on my phone and would never switch over to car. As if the USB doesn't support audio anymore.

Tried different cable and even removed/repair many times still same result.

Anyone else having this issue or similar?

Had many issues with the unconnected system in my prior car a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This started after I updated to ios 11. I’m thinking this is an issue with the new iOS. No issues so far with the X5
