If you have EDC, yes, you have to disable it.

EDC is the adaptive shocks. Nothing to do with the air bags. You have to disable edc cuz you replace the shocks with KW so it's not needed anymore. And yes you can replace the rear bags with springs. You need the perch that the spring sits on. You can get it oem from dealer. It just clips into the bottom where the airbag clips into. And yes just pull fuse for compressor.

Do you mean if I replace the original suspensions by the kw v3, it won't change anything about the car's safety ??? 🙄
Thanks

Correct. EDC has nothing to do with safety. It just loosens or firms up the shocks based on you being in Sport or comfort mode. . That's it. You disconnect EDC cuz it'll throw errors. But not effect safety.

Thanks

You'll be replacing the suspension. Or are you referring to the wear and tear items such as links and joints etc. then yes. How much that can't really be said but bmw uses cheap rubber so they fail prematurely anyway. Less than 40k likes and I had to replace both front wishbones.

Well i always knew kw was better, but for the price VTF is not bad. Just depends if you want something smoother for 5 times the price 🙃

F15/16 owners on Eibach Pro's, did y'all see the instant drop after install with a progressive drop after settling to spec, or was it a stock look initially with an eventual drop after xxx miles?

Drop was pretty immediate. I think if I remember I was a bit unlevel but that settled after some time.
