Hope you have better luck than me. Mine started throwing more codes. I got rid of the car 2 weeks ago.

2A6C00. Operational smoothness regulator cylinder 2

805268. Recirculating pump unit activation: Not Plausible

Still getting the same code. It’s either the EGR or the radiator is plugged up. Ready go abc at this point. Also got the info warning on the dpf, and it’s got less that 20k miles left

sorry to hear about that.
I have just replaced the changeover valve today. now I can hear the valve. The EGR coolant temperature now is the same as coolant. No codes so far.
I had coolant consumption which was found on oil analysis ....nothing that changed oil viscosity but certainly need to be fixed. I had the EGR low pressure ( in front of engine replaced 20k miles ago ) inspected it and look good.
Just in case I removed the oil cooler, replaced all the gasket. Found broken transmission thermostat valve ... wont influence my coolant issue. At this point also replaced the auxiliary pump.
Decided to remove the auxiliary EGR cooler for inspection (next to exhaust manifold) and found this. Lot of coolant. Hopefully this explains the coolant consumption. Replaced it.
Now is time to put some mileage and hopefully confirm the solution.

Same code

2BD800 changeover valve for low temperature EGR cooling: change in coolant temp after changeover too low

I’ve changed the following that were not working

Changeover valve
EGR aux pump
Both temp sensors
Vacuum solenoid control valves
Vacuum lines

No coolant loss at all.

I had the low temp EGR cooler replaced under warranty about 20k miles ago too, that’s when the code started.

So it might be the EGR cooler itself. I’m not sure what changes the recall made, if it was hardware only or software too.

Try to recalibrate the EGR valve in ISTA.

The message seems to be more related to coolant temperature. Anyway I would suggest checking the temperatures of coolant and exhaust after engine achieved normal operational condition.
This is what I have on my car.
Exhaust temp egr (passenger side) 500F
Exhaust temp egr (front engine) 250F
Coolant / egr coolant - 195F. Both are pretty much the same.

It’s strange, I can drive it now for 4-5 days and I won’t get even a pending code. But then it randomly pops up. Before it would come up almost instantly.

Temps are about 8F lower most of the time on Low temp temp sensor.

Maybe it’s air that’s being bleed out? And that’s what’s causing it? Expecting it to pop up tomorrow, if the pattern continues

just to recap ... on my case the difference in temperature between engine coolant and egr coolant was ~ 40/50F. the reason is because there was less flow on egr coolant house due the fact the changeover was not opening. I dont 8F difference an issue.
keep us informed.

So I’m at 13 days and no codes. It’s been 55 degrees in the am and 80’s during the day. I did reset the dpf, because it was giving me the info warning. I wonder if that triggers a check engine light.

The two code I do have are SCR transfer pump impossible, but it still is working so I’m not gonna do any thing (no light) just message

The second code which is new is particle sensor temperature meandor. I did change the sensor about a year ago, so I will monitor it.

No lights so I’m happy.

have driven 1000 miles with new high pressure EGR ... coolant level is stable. will continue to monitor and hopefully close the issue.
yesterday I got a new code 240500 - low egr flow ... run test plan today and results said there is not enough flow when egr high pressure bypass is actuated .... potentially air leak or obstructed EGR.
need more investigation
