If your car does not have TPMS installed, it won't work. If it does, you have to drive a little bit for your car to show the pressure and temp.

If your Tire Pressure screen in your iDrive was always blank when you bought your car, then you do not have TPMS installed. Also, when you coded, if your default was "none" or not active, then you do not have TPMS. If you are unsure, ask your dealer.

Yes, you can buy it and install it. PM r33 for TPMS. He sells them at a reasonable rate.

This is how it shows if you don't have TPMS installed. If this is how it looked before, then you have to buy them and install them and leave the coding you did on.

You might want to look up the part number (BMW 36106856209) and see what company will be cheapest for you being in Saudi.

All I'd like coded was coded today. If anybody is in the Seattle area let me know and I can get you hooked up on coding from my buddy's company B I M Coding or pm me for his info. Or let him know Taran told you about him and he'll sort you out.

Nothing. I've known him for many many years before coding in BMWs was available to the masses.

Yeah plus with the new updates I think 53 and 54 he was saying he coded my truck in 52 and it worked just fine if it matters to anybody.

Well, once your dealer updates your software to 54.2 or above, let me know what he says.

Yep, let us know your Current I-level and what PSdZData files he used to code your car. From there I can tell you what he did (if anything needed to be changed or not). Thanks.

From the coder:

Taran,

The i-level on your car is F025-14-11-505 which is psdzdata 54.3. What I used was 54.1 which worked for all ecu's except for NBT which required a cafd file from 54.2. Typically when psdzdata is released it's usually extracted and combined with older cafd files but Shawn Sheridan can explain the process better. That said just because the i-level is on 54.3 doesn't necessarily mean the coding won't work for some ecu's.

On the topic of coding not working on 54.2 and 54.3 there are reports cafd files not having identifiers in them so looking for certain keywords will be impossible making FDL coding basically dead. What we don't know is if the psdzdata files are bad or if this is permanent. We'll see in the near future.

54.2 would have worked as well, but HU_NBT CAFD is not readable on a car that has your Ilevel because it's newer/changed, which correlates to the latest post by Shawn posting that CAFD a few posts back in order to make it readable/codeable.

54.1 remains the best option given the changes made to PSdZData beginning with 54.2 and expanded upon in 54.3.
