Once I got a full bm3 tune the volume increased by atleast 50 percent. Car sounds like an angry dragon about to spit fire and burn your village to rubble.

That being said I will be going with a full tune bm3 again for reason of increased woosh and that I know f85 has plenty of extra ponies that are not tapped. I get bored easy and when this phase usually means new mod
is BM3 compatible with F85 yet? what are the projected numbers?

My local shop and others that work on my Car state is out and listed on protuningfreaks website as available. Numbers should be similar to m5 tune somewhere in the range 600 whp 650 wtq

The added tq would be biggest notice

the only thing I have against Burger Motorsports is the difficulty installing their system. If there was a detailed video on how to do the install on F85's I would give it a shot. Race Chip is pretty straight forward and takes 10 -15 minutes tops. I noticed with a one bottle of Torco Accelerator and I could notice a huge difference! especially if I add one 32 Oz to half a tank of gas (due to the poor Octane rating we have in my region)

He probably means “Boot Mod” not Burger. BM can do a complete flash tune of the ECM after physically cracking it. Best overall tune available. Only downside is the factory warranty is gone. Best way to make big power.

correct. talking bootmod Bm3 not Jb4.

full tune which has many other features never seen before in any other tune.

not sure its the best tune out there but having a local dealer makes things much easier

Considering upgrading my intake and it appears a lot of people are happy with the sound of the RK Autowerks when properly tuned. I’m also a sucker for CF, so the design goes a long way for me. Spare me of the comments on how overpriced they are, I just bought an M, so what’s money, anyways?😂

Anywho, I’ve searched the forums pretty thoroughly and haven’t found an answer to my biggest concern, and that is the placement of the air filters directly behind the grill, and how susceptible that makes them to gulping down water in a heavy rain. So, does anyone know if there are issues with the RK intake in rainy weather?

Thanks!

I've driven in heavy rain with no issues.
