Any updates? My wheels are finished and about to shipped. Hopefully you've got some good news too!

I hope you get your wheels soon and enjoy them. Be sure to post up pics.

I did get some good news today. Vossen encountered some non spec Powder for the coating process. That’s not their fault. So they stripped all four wheels and recoated them today. I should have them next Tuesday. Just a case of bad luck.

Only correspondence from Mike is what he posted in this thread. The local supplier that I ordered them from did a great job communicating with me and actually got Vossen to reimburse some $ since the delivery went off the rails and I can not use them until April 2018.

Well glad your supplier was able to communicate on your behalf and get you a discount based on the long, long wait; combined with the fact that you bought them for high performance summer tires, and have already had to convert to your winter tire package.

Glad you finally got the wheels, and excited to see them on your X5 M when winter is over. My car arrived with the factory 21s and I had to buy the factory winter tire and wheel package because it was already required to have winter wheels here in Germany when my X5 M was finally delivered.

Wheels look awesome!

So true.

OP -- Other than the delivery delay, are you happy with the wheels? What do you think about the fit and finish?

Love the wheels. Finish is great. When I put my winters on today I mocked a front and back Vossen and the hub centric was perfect.

325 21 Michelin + Vossen Rear weight. Factory 20 rear is ~ 5lbs heavier than the front so 78lbs. Total Rotational Weight saving is roughly 37 LBS. That's a nice drop for rotational weight. I could have saved more weight but did not want to drop the Wheel weight load rating below 2090 lbs per wheel for safety.

Even though they are heavy at 73 lbs, the winters look pretty good.

I did the same with my wheels (weighing them). Coming from road racing many years ago I was curious to the unsprung weight savings because we know how much of an impact that can make.
