Has anyone bought all weather floor mats for their F85/F86?

I am currently looking at BMW All Weather Floor Mats, and WeatherTech. Pictures below.

Trying to determine which are better. BMW’s design looks simpler with less coverage. WeatherTech looks more well designed, but it appears to cover up a portion of the Aluminum door sill which could cause scratches.

Thanks again. The one for the trunk appears to cover the rail tie-down system, and the storage compartment on the right rear of the cargo area. Do you get good use of the protective trunk floor mat?

Picture below is what you have Can-am?

I have the BMW all-weather mats (which work well), but the WeatherTech mats seem to have better coverage, like you said.

I have had the BMW All Weather Floor Mats including the cargo mat in both my X6 and X5, while here in Germany. They fit perfectly in the floorboard and protect your carpets very well. I highly recommend them.
I have not seen the WeatherTech in person so I cant speak to those.
Cheers!

Yes this is the one I have.

I still can use the rail system while the carpet is installed.
But not the side storage compartiments , si I've decided do cut the carpet.
It doesn't look very clean , but it's ok for the trunk , and I keep the practicality of the side storage.

I have the BMW Liners like the Weathertech since the dealer included them. I am in a snowy/wet area so I prefer them but they are thin and think the BMW all weather mats look better and they are thicker. The BMW or weathertech logo on the liners is just a sticker which peeled off on my weathertech liner on my 3 series, where as the all weather mats the BMW logo is aluminum in the mats.

Sounds like most people find the BMW branded all weather floor mats a good value and aesthetically pleasing. Thank you all.

I would like to suggest the OEM BMW rear floor mat liner versus the independent mats. It covers the center portion between the mats in addition to providing protection to the surrounding areas.

In my opinion forget about BMW's floor mats I have them and they're not bad but the weather tech covers a lot more. At the end of the day regardless of thickness or stickers peeling if youre looking to have your carpets completely protected the weather tech looks like its the best option. Having the BMW floor mats are ok but from 2 years of use ive noticed that they dont fully protect the floor. There are some spots where ive noticed a white build up that has to be cleaned using a vinegar water mixture. If I didn't get mine for free from the dealer I would pay to have the weather tech installed.

I used the Weathertech last year in my 5 series and was not impressed with the coverage, this year I have a X6M (sold the 5 series) and I have purchased Tuxmat, it has more coverage and looks quite good in the car....

I just got the BMW floor liners and cargo mat for mine. The floor liners look very similar to Weathertechs I had on my old X5; don't know if they are rebadged or just similar design. I am happy with the coverage and quality.

Thank you. I just went to their website and they are out of stock. Reading all the posts, many are satisfied with the BMW all weather floor mats (AWF), and like the Aluminum BMW branding vs. WeatherTech. A few people believe the WeatherTech AWF provides more coverage and looks higher quality. What I take away from your post is that you like the Tuxmat better than the WeatherTech.

What is the Tuxmat AWF made of? It looks softer, and like a faux leather? Is it easy to clean? I watched one video and it does appear to provide more coverage.

Sotally Tober, I read a lot of Amazon reviews and overall there are a lot of people saying these look and feel better than WeatherTech. The one question I have is that one review mentioned warping and slipping. Do you experience these issues or anticipate this happening?

Pictures below are what I believe you have?

Awesome videos at the track bro.

My military sale went pretty well. Just waited a while for the X5 M to arrive to Germany. I have a panoramic sunroof/ electric sun shade problem though.

Thank you for the recommendation.

Hello
Apparently I bought the last set in the warehouse, but they were waiting for more stock. Yes it is faux leather and easy to clean. Will post pictures later today.

I found some stock photos online, posted below, but it would be great if you could post some photos of them in your X5 M.

Went with the 3D Maxpider mats that Sotally Tober recommended. I emailed Tuxmat more than once with no reply. They were out of stock. Also, they do not appear to ship to Germany, or to my US APO address, so Amazon Prime it is with the 3D Maxpider front and second rows.

Still looking for a rear cargo area mat. Might go with the standard BMW cargo mat that Can-am has.

If you don't need to access to the side storage , it is a great carpet.
It is stiff and protects very well the cargo surface.
